Fall Apples

When I saw the first challenge on the new SU Only Challenge website was to make a fall card I immediately thought of apples.  The stores and roadside stands here in Michigan are filled with so many luscious varieties of apples.  So what better stamp to use than this one from the Countryside set.
I am always drawn to sets that can be watercolored.  It is so relaxing. For this one I chose Cherry Cobbler for the apples, pear pizzazz for the grass and a combination of Crumb Cake and Early Espresso for the truck.

The ribbon is the 1-1/4 inch Striped Grosgrain in Early Espresso.  I trimmed one edge and pulled out some strands to fray the bottom.
I wrapped a piece of tape around the ends of some of the loose strands and threaded them through a Soft Subtle Button.  I tied the strands and trimmed the ends.
Now I just need to go make an apple crisp!  Yum!!!
