Waffle Paper - Distressed Dry Embossing

This card shows another waffle paper technique - dry embossing with craft ink distressing.
Unfortunately, the photograph does not show the wonderful texture of the black waffle paper after embossing.  It is a very different look than embossing cardstock.  I swiped a white craft ink pad over the embossed paper to give a distressed look and tore the edges as well.

The background is stamped with the large stamp from the Notably Ornate set.  The black lace ribbon from the Holiday Mini Catalog is called "Raven".   (I think it would be fun to come up with names for products.  Some of them are so fun!)  And the pink piece is punched with the new decorative label punch.  Rhinestones in the corners and on the oval add just a touch of bling.

Don't forget to leave a comment to be entered in the drawing for a free pass to the Cool Moves UStamp session!

  1. So many little details on this card. I love the rhinestones! (and it would be fun to 'name' the things wouldn't it!)
