Stampin' Addicts Blog Hop: 2014-2015 New Catalog

Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts New Catalog Blog Hop!   We have prepared a super selection of projects using all new products from the 2014-2015 Catalog for you!!  Our blogs are permanently linked so you can hop around the circle or you can click on the banner above to access the complete blog roll.

As an Army Mom I was so excited to see the For Your Country set in the new catalog.   It was #1 on my list to order!  Looking through the catalog I found other patriotic products to coordinate with it-- the Be the Star stamp set with matching star framelits, Maritime Designer Series Paper and Night of Navy Seam Binding.

My first project is a star-studded wreath.  I covered a press-board wreath base with the Night of Navy Seam Binding and then added lots of DSP and stamped stars die cut with the Star Framelits.  Little bits of cotton and taffeta ribbon are tucked in for accents.
Second is an extended step display with three sections.    I adapted the directions for a side step card from a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers.
This is a picture of our son - we are looking forward to him being home on leave before too long!
Also I stamped the "Hoo-ray!" sentiment from the Be the Star set twice and cut out the letters to spell "Hooah!".
