Fall has been just beautiful here in Michigan and there is an abundant crop of locally grown apples this year.   The farm markets and stores have so many varieties to pick from.  I have made several batches of yummy apple butter.  Apple crisp and apple pie are on the to-do list too.    So it is perfect that our stamp set this time is APPLE HARVEST!

I had a great time with this set and have been playing around with a new technique- MELTED  CRAYON BLENDING.   I started by heating the cardstock with a small iron then quickly coloring with a crayon and blending with a napkin.  Lightest colors are laid down first with progressively darker colors added on top.

The results were really pretty!

I love how rich the colors are.

A 3D framed picture of lovely apples for fall decorating.

I filmed a tutorial.  This is really fun and I hope you give it a try!

Supplies for these projects:

Stamps:  Apple Harvest
Paper:   Basic White Thick cardstock, Oh Holy Night Designer Series Paper,  Copper Clay Cardstock
Ink:  Granite Grey and Old Olive Classic Ink,
Accessories:     In-Color Jute Trim
Non- SU!:  Crayola crayons, paper towel, napkin, iron and ironing surface

These are the crayons I used:

I dumped them out and sorted them into color families so I could see the color gradients easily.   (I kept the neons ones separate.)
