Stamp Review Crew: 2020 Winter Sale-a-bration #2

The Stamp Review Crew has another bonus hop featuring Sale-a-Bration goodies!  The format is a little different for this hop.  Instead of each member creating with the same stamp set as we usually do this time we are all using different Sale-a-bration products.  As always though we are archiving the hop for future reference and be sure to check out our last Sale-a-Bration bonus hop.   Please click on the banner below to see past hops and to check out the bios of the crew members.

I wanted to make a birthday card with the Mischievous Mice stamp set.  Looking through my Designer Series paper I discovered the PERFECT one to use - the Sale-a-Bration Sunshine and Rainbows. Not just the outside of the card-- check out the CHEESE on the inside!  How about some colby-jack for the mice!
The balloon is paper-pieced. Stamp the balloon on the
pink DSP, cut on the lines and glue it on top of the stamped design.

I used a So Saffron Stampin' Blend to
shade the holes and the top of the cheese.

I also had a small-sized birthday present that I needed to wrap.  I used some little odds and ends that I had cut for other projects to decorate the box and make a little gift enclosure card.
Birthday present for my "car guy"!

So glad you hopped by!  Please click on the buttons below to continue on to more great Sale-a-bration ideas!!

Stamp Review Crew: Blessings of Home

Welcome to the latest Stamp Review Blog Hop.  We are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from around the globe.   Every first and third Monday of the month we host a hop featuring a different stamp set.  This is a great way to see a bunch of projects in a variety of styles.  One stamp set,,, so many ideas!

We have the past hops archived on the Stamp Review Crew website.  Please click on the banner below to see all the creative goodness!

This time we are featuring the beautiful floral stamp set Blessings of Home.

The most relaxing part of a project for me is the coloring. In deciding what color scheme to go with for the flowers I pulled from the coordinating Heart and Home Designer Series paper.

Cinnamon Cider is an unexpected color choice for the flowers but I really like it!

I used a 5 inch wooden embroidery hoop and wrapped the ribbon before gluing a piece of the Designer Series Paper to the back.

The little piece of ribbon tucked in at the side has Gilded Leafing on it.
A fun tiny bit of gold accent.

Stamp Review Crew: Measure of Love

Welcome!  The Stamp Review Crew has a teeny tiny three-stop blog hop this month.  Our hops vary in size each month and this one is little in number but big on cute projects.  It will only take a few minutes to hop through the fun projects using the Measure of Love stamp set!   (Also you can click on the banner below to go to the Stamp Review Crew website to see all our posts.)

How about a sweet birthday card?  The Stamp-a-ratus was handy for the spacing of the three cupcake images.  I used the "hinge-step" technique of moving the hinge down two steps each time.  The cupcakes are colored with Stampin' Blends.  I appreciate that the Blends come as a set with a light and dark shade making it so easy to add depth to line images.

This measures 4 inches by 8-1/2 inches and can be mailed in a business size envelope.

The bright colors of the Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Series
Paper (a Sale-a-bration item) make this a really HAPPY card!

Next I made some 3 x 5 recipe cards.  I am planning to tuck these into some valentine cards I am making.  I covered these with clear iron-on vinyl so drips and spatters can be wiped away.   (I use iron-on vinyl in quite a few of my projects and have a video about that.)

Preserving a few favorite family recipes.
