Mitered Frames Tutorial

I am thrilled to be the guest author for the weekly tutorial on Splitcoaststampers!    In the last several posts I have been sharing projects based on the concept of mitered borders used in quilting.  When you apply the idea to paper crafting the results are delightfully easy!   It is like making a mini quilt and no sewing machine is needed!

Double-sided paper is a must for this technique...background and frame all in one.

The math is super simple and can be applied to both squares and rectangles.

Same folding as above... just leave the edges free floating.

Adding one more scoreline gives a another unique look
