Hello and welcome to the latest Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop! Our international crew highlights one Stampin' Up stamp set on each blog hop. Hops are the first and third Mondays of the month and are a great way to get lots of ideas for using a set!
If you click on the banner below you will be taken to the Stamp Review Crew website which has a complete list crew members and you can see all the past hops as well.
Our stamp set this time is the Beautiful You set with lovely sketched figures and lots of sentiments. I used a combination of masking and paper piecing to make this Halloween card.To make her hat and dress I stamped the image on a piece of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series paper. (I used Versamark Ink and Clear Embossing Powder.) When I cut it out I extended the hat into a point to make a witch's hat.
The pretty stamped jewels are from the Season to Sparkle stamp set |
On the inside I did a bit of masking as well to change the "Happy Birthday, Gorgeous" to "Halloween".
