Time To Sale-A-Brate Blog Hop

Welcome the Inky Friends Time to Sale-A-Brate Blog Hop!  Our friendly group has organized a hop for you showing the 2018 Sale-A-Bration products that are available for free with a qualified purchase.   You can visit the My Inky Friends website for a complete list of blog hop participants by clicking on the banner below!

When I first get a peek at a new catalog I confess that I race through and check out all the new stamps.   Then I go back and look more closely at all the new trims and embellishments.  These little gems don't take center stage most of the time so I thought it would be fun to create a project where they are the main show.
I started with a cardstock rectangle cutout and used the luscious Shimmer Ribbon Pack to weave a frame.  The ribbon is SO pretty with a delicate sheen.   The three widths made a fun pattern when woven together.    I kept extra embellishments to a minimum and added just a petite double bow and little tassel.
The tassel is from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit.
I took pictures along the way as I was creating this so I will be sharing a tutorial as soon as I can.  I am not specifying an exact date for completion of the tutorial as I have a super full schedule ahead.  This is a very fun project so I hope you think it worth the wait:)

Now please click on the links below to continue hopping along to see more of My Inky Friend's projects!  NEXT you will see Sharleen's pretty Heartfelt Blooms projects or PREVIOUS will take you to Sarah's Beautiful Peacock collection.
