For these cards I experimented with watercolor painting and a No-Line ink (Ink on 3 Fadeout ink). This first card is done on Stampin' Up watercolor paper. I stamped the image with the fadeout ink then watercolored with diluted Stampin' Up Classic Ink.
It was pretty cool to see that the dilute watercolors run up to the stamped lines and fill in the image and make the outline the same color as the flowers or leaves but darker. You have to be pretty patient filling in each area with just the right amount of watercolors so that each section is painted but does not overflow or the color will go beyond the outline. I colored each section with quite diluted color and when that was dry I used less diluted colors to add shading to each flower and leaf.
This second card uses the same stamp and inks but is stamped on Stampin' Up Designer Series Paper. This gave a more subtle soft and dreamy look. The fadeout ink remained more transparent.
