If you have looked in the stores you may have noticed light blue and cherry are popular Christmas colors this year. My second project for UStamp with Dawn and Friends, which was posted today, uses those colors.
It highlights the special Stampin' Up! promotion for October which is buy 2 Simply Sent Kits and get a coordinating stamp set free. My project turns the Everyday Elegance Simply Sent kit into a lovely Christmas gift set. It includes four full size cards with interchangeable greetings and four gift enclosure cards packaged in a custom designed portfolio. The masking technique uses the paper backing from the stamps so when mounting your stamps don't throw the paper away- even the scraps are useful!
