Hello and welcome to the latest Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop! Our international crew highlights one Stampin' Up stamp set on each blog hop. Of course I had to join in this SRC session as we are featuring the Pampered Pets stamp set and I cannot resist a cute cat stamp!
I have been on a roll making simple sewn projects with Stampin' Up supplies. Each is covered with transparent iron-on vinyl before being machine stitched.

The double sided paper is perfect as the inside is just as cute as the outside. I am working on a video tutorial for making this zipper pouch and will post a link when I have that finished.
The second project is a coupon holder. The vinyl protects it making it great for slipping into a purse.

| Cut two pieces of scrapbook paper/cardstock 3-1/2” X 8-1/2” and 4-1/4” X 8-1/2”. Decorate as desired. Cover with iron-on vinyl. Sandwich a loop of ribbon between the layers. Use a sewing machine to sew around the sides and bottom close to the edge. |
The third is a little wristlet.
The inside has thin magnetic strips for the closure. I put the magnets on the paper and then folded the vinyl over before ironing it in place. (You have to be cautious not to get the iron too hot and move quickly over the magnet)
I have a video for using the iron-on vinyl with paper. It is really a fun way to preserve your pretty stamping!
I also have a shaker card with the cute doggie that I realize I never posted.

ReplyDeleteWhat a FAB idea using the vinyl covered DSP! (I have so much stash I could use for this.) Love the doggie shaker card, too - he looks so happy to see that food bowl! :)
