The little piece of ribbon tucked in at the side has Gilded Leafing on it. A fun tiny bit of gold accent. |

We are using the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set for this edition. Our hop is small this time around but the projects are all so sweet!
For my first project I used the Disappearing Nine Patch technique to make the background. I think the cute little Corgi is adorable with his Santa beard!
My next project requires a bit of explanation. I made a pot holder for each of our three kids for Christmas. (Hopefully none of them will see this blog post before Christmas day!) I picked a fabric that I knew each would like. I had fun pulling out scraps of fabric to go with the main fabric. (Just like my paper scraps I save all my little scraps of fabric too!)
Please click on the buttons below for a gallery of ideas for this stamp set!

Finally I have my computer and phone on the same page and am able to upload photos again. Nice to be back to a bit of blogging!
Of course I could not resist adding the Clever Cats stamp set to my Kitty Stamp collection. The artist surely must have kitties of their own as these cats have a lot of character! We had a big fluffy cat who loved to try to sit in teeny little boxes. Always good for a laugh and lots of picture taking.
| This fluffy kitty is cut out and perched on top of the window cut with the Picture This die. |
| The "Birthday" is borrowed from the Well Said stamp set. I used the Stamparatus to get the words positioned and the kitty exactly in the corner. |
| This card fits in a No 10 (business) size envelope. The card front is 4" X 9-1/4". |
Fun things are happening on the Splitcoaststampers site! The Falliday Fest is an annual event with tutorials, challenges and prizes. My tutorial for the Disappearing Nine Patch technique is the featured project today!
(I had planned to add some new projects myself but I am having issues with my computer not importing photos. Until I get that resolved I am not able to put new things on my blog or upload to Splitcoaststampers. 😞)
The Stamp Review Crew has a second bonus hop featuring Sale-a-bration goodies. In case you missed the first one you can check it out HERE. The format is a little different for our Sale-a-bration hops. Instead of each member creating with the same stamp set as we usually do we are all using different Sale-a-bration products. As always though we are archiving the hop for future reference. Please click on the banner below to see past hops and to check out the bios of the crew members.
